Unplugged Energy instant pricing tool. Last updated 10 October 2026.

These terms cover your use of the Unplugged Energy instant pricing tool at pricing.unpluggedenergy.com.au and wherever it appears on unpluggedenergy.com.au (the "tool"). The tool is run by Unplugged Energy Pty Ltd (ABN 58 638 519 883) ("we", "us").

By using the tool you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. You can always call us on 08 6384 3010 for a quote instead.

1. What the tool does

• It lets you build a residential solar and/or battery system and see an instant price, the rebates applied, an indicative weekly finance figure and estimated savings.
• It is for homes in Perth and south-west WA. It is not for business or commercial systems. For those, please call us.
• It is a pricing and information tool. It is not a site inspection, a system design, or electrical, financial or tax advice.

2. Instant prices

• The price shown is based on the options you select and a standard installation. It is in Australian dollars, includes GST, and is shown after the government rebates listed in your price breakdown.
• Each price comes with a quote reference and a "valid to" date. When you reserve, we hold that price for you until that date, subject to the roof check and the things listed in section 4.
• A price shown by the tool is not an offer that can be accepted to form a contract. See section 3.

3. Reserving your install

• Clicking "Reserve my install" costs nothing and takes no payment.
• A reservation is a request for us to check your home and confirm your price. It is not a contract. It does not oblige you to buy, and it does not oblige us to install.
• After you reserve, we check your roof remotely and aim to contact you within one business day to confirm your price or explain any change.
• You can cancel a reservation at any time, for any reason, at no cost. Just tell us.
• We may decline a reservation, for example if your home is outside our service area, the system isn't suitable for your property, or the reservation looks to be spam or not genuine.
• A contract only exists once you accept a formal written proposal from us. See section 9.

4. Why a price might change

We work hard to make the instant price the price you pay. It can change after the roof check, or before you sign a proposal, for reasons including:

• Your site and roof. Roof type, pitch, height, number of storeys, shading, access, switchboard condition or space (including the need for a sub-board), cable runs, asbestos, or anything else that makes the job a non-standard installation.
• Rebates and incentives. Changes to the STC price or zone, the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, the WA Residential Battery Scheme, or your eligibility for any of them. Rebates are set and approved by government and scheme administrators, are limited, and can change or end without notice. We can't guarantee them.
• Grid approval. Western Power or Synergy limiting or refusing the system size, export limits, or your supply phase being different to what you selected.
• Stock and substitutions. A product becoming unavailable. If that happens we will offer an equivalent or better product, or a revised price.
• Errors. An obvious pricing or product error in the tool, for example from a data fault. We may correct it and are not bound by a price that is clearly wrong.

If the price changes, we will tell you the new price and why before you commit to anything. You are free to walk away.

5. Savings estimates

• Savings, payback periods, bill charts and "recommended for you" packages are modelled estimates, not promises.
• They are worked out from assumptions about electricity tariffs and feed-in rates, Perth weather and solar yield, battery performance, export limits, and either your uploaded Synergy data or a typical WA home scaled to the bill amount you enter.
• Your actual results will differ with your usage, the weather, shading, tariff changes, changes to feed-in schemes, and how you run your system.
• Estimates based on a bill amount are less accurate than estimates based on your Synergy interval data. The tool tells you which one you are looking at.
• The only savings commitment we make is the separate 10 Year $1,000 Savings Guarantee on eligible systems, which applies only once a system is installed and only on its own terms.

6. Finance figures

• Any weekly or monthly repayment figure is indicative only. It is calculated from the interest rate, term and fees shown in the fine print beside it.
• Finance is provided by a third-party lender, not by Unplugged Energy. It is subject to the lender's application, eligibility checks, approval, and terms and conditions. Rates and fees can change.
• We are not a credit provider and we do not give credit, financial or tax advice. Consider whether finance suits your circumstances, and get independent advice if you are unsure.

7. Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Specifically for this tool:

• Synergy interval data. If you upload a Synergy data file, we use it only to size your system and estimate your savings. The file is held in our server's memory for up to 24 hours and is not written to storage. If you make a reservation, we keep a summary of your usage (not the file) with your reservation.
• Reservation details. When you reserve, we collect your name, email, mobile, address, your RAC member number if you claim the RAC member discount, and any notes you add, along with your selected system, price and usage summary. We use these to check your roof, confirm your price, contact you and prepare a proposal. They are stored in the customer management and solar design software we use to run our business.
• Analytics and advertising. If you make a reservation on our website, we record that it happened (with the quote reference and value, not your contact details) using third-party analytics and advertising tools, so we can measure how our website and advertising perform.
• Problem reports. If you report a problem with the tool, we keep what you wrote, any screenshot you attach, the page and browser you were using, the system you had selected and, if you give one, your email address. We use these only to fix the problem and to reply to you.
• Security and abuse prevention. We log technical information such as IP addresses to rate-limit requests and protect the tool.
• Only upload data and submit details that are yours, or that you have permission to share.

8. Contacting you

• By making a reservation you agree that we may contact you by phone, SMS and email about your quote and reservation, and about related Unplugged Energy products, services and offers.
• You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe option in the message, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us. We will still contact you where needed about an active reservation or installation.

9. If you go ahead

• These terms only cover the tool and your reservation. They are not your installation contract.
• If you decide to proceed, we will send you a formal proposal. Your installation is then governed solely by that proposal (the Details), our Supplementary Proposal Terms and the Unplugged Energy Terms and Conditions.
• If anything in the tool or these terms is inconsistent with those contract documents, the contract documents apply.
• Unplugged Energy is a signatory to the New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC).

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

• scrape, harvest or bulk-collect pricing or product data from the tool, other than through the published read-only pricing pages and agent endpoints at reasonable request rates;
• reverse engineer the tool, or try to work out our costs, margins or pricing rules;
• submit false, misleading, duplicate or spam reservations, or reservations for an address or person without their authority;
• get around, or try to get around, rate limits or security measures;
• interfere with the tool, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission, or introduce malicious code;
• copy or republish the tool or its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We may block or limit access for anyone who breaches these rules.

11. AI assistants and agents

• AI assistants and automated agents are welcome to read our prices, products and packages through the tool's published pricing pages and agent endpoints.
• An agent may submit a reservation on a person's behalf, as long as that person has genuinely authorised it and the details submitted are theirs and are accurate. The person the agent acts for is responsible for the reservation as if they had submitted it themselves.
• Bulk, repeated or speculative reservations by agents are treated as spam under section 10, and we may reject them and block the source.
• Prices and estimates relayed by a third-party AI assistant may be out of date or wrong. The price that counts is the one shown by the tool itself, and then the one in your written proposal.

12. Availability and accuracy

• We take care to keep the tool accurate and available, but we don't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
• Product details, images and specifications are for general guidance. Manufacturers change specifications from time to time. Your proposal will list exactly what is to be installed.
• We may change or withdraw the tool, products, prices and promotions at any time. That does not affect a quote that is still within its "valid to" date, except as set out in section 4.

13. Our responsibility to you

• Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
• Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on a price, estimate or other information from the tool before you have a written proposal from us, or from the tool being unavailable.
• Any installation we carry out for you is covered by the warranties and consumer guarantees set out in your contract documents and at law.

14. Intellectual property

The tool, including its design, text, software and pricing data, belongs to us or our licensors. Product names and logos belong to their respective owners. You may use the tool for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of getting a quote.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. The version in place when you make a reservation applies to that reservation.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. The courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction.
